Color & Design

  • Body: The body of the saree is a beautiful, luminous teal blue/green, subtly adorned with scattered small buttas.
  • Border: This rich color of the body is dramatically contrasted by the magnificent royal purple rettaipettu border. The border features buttas of various sizes in gold zari. 
  • Pallu: The pallu is a showcase of grand craftsmanship, featuring broad horizontal bands of dense gold zari weaving with traditional patterns, including motifs of peacocks.
  • Blouse: It comes with a dark teal cotton blouse piece with the same border as the saree (as shown in the last picture).
